How university aggregates work
Each program sets its own weightage. UET Lahore uses 17/50/33 (ECAT), so FSc matters most. NUST puts 75% on the NET, so the entry test dominates. Punjab University uses 25/50/25 with a test, or 40/50/10 for BS programs with no test (both approximate). MS/MPhil combines your last degree, the HEC HAT/GRE General test and an interview. Pick your program from the menu above and the calculator fills in the right weightage and totals automatically.
Each component is converted to a percentage of its own total, weighted, and summed. For UET: 90% Matric, 85% FSc, 70% ECAT β (90Γ0.17)+(85Γ0.50)+(70Γ0.33) = 80.9%.
What this includes & its limits
- UET and NUST weightages follow published policy and use FSc Part-I marks (their tests run before Part-II results); PU splits are approximate. Every total is editable.
- MS/MPhil and BS splits vary by department; PU gap-year deductions and the Hafiz-e-Quran bonus are not applied automatically.
- Always confirm the exact formula with the admitting department's prospectus.
